Sunday Splurge . . .

Now I know this is not my most original choice for Sunday Splurge this week but I recently discovered Zara's Tom & Jerry capsule collection and have become a little bit in awe of all the pieces. So today I give you the full collection, a splurge if ever there was one as there is certainly a number of  pieces to suite all styles.

If like me you grew up watching Tom & Jerry cartoons as a child then you will love this nostalgic collection. I really like how Zara has been doing fun capsules recently as part of it's main collection, not always making a song and a dance about them so you really have to hunt them out.

I like how they have featured the characters on modern and on trend silhouettes and in some cases with the use of a small scale print have hidden cubes of cheese with Jerry on fashionable shirts.

Explore the collection below, let me know your thoughts!

Clueless Checks

I think we have all dreamed of Cher from Clueless's wardrobe at one point in our lives, if not for the fancy technology it's because of her fab yellow tartan co-ords. Luckily for us checks in all shapes, colours and sizes are in at the moment, letting is finally recreate our childhood fantasies.

If like me you have been trying to track down the best check pieces, you can shop the trend here!

Bum Bag VS Belt Bag

Now this is a serious question are you for bum bags or belt bags??

Now last year we saw a huge rise in bumbags both on the catwalks but also in celeb style and general street style, but at the end of last year there was an introduction to elegant streemline belt bags.

Now I was not happy when I first saw bum bags were making a come back but after having one for a work event I was dare I say converted, whether you wear it as it should be worn or you wear it instead as a cross body bag it really will help improve your life. Practical pouches, easy access for you and you can keep your eye on your belongings more importantly.

So whether you are thinking ahead for the festival season or just want to pick up something good in the sale here are a couple of good options so you can get ahead of trend.
