Lingerie . . .

Now ahead of Valentines Day I thought I would put together a round up of lingerie brands perfect for the occasion. Now whether you choose your lingerie for your partners preferences or like me you choose lingerie for yourself I hope there are a few good suggestions for you below.

Now I did a post a couple of years ago on the trouble of finding good, pretty lingerie if you are a bigger cup size then a D because I think it is remarkable what nice underwear can do to your confidence. If you face the same problem as me hopefully there will be a few brands you know and maybe a few new ones below.

If you are more petite, don't worry I still have some great brands for you too!

Let's start with my favourite Rigby & Peller, now this is somewhere to go for a) experience if you have larger chests and b) you have a little money to spend. Now I do shop here and know it can be expensive but if you look after your bras and hopefully don't change size too much the bras can last over a year and a half with constant wear. Trust me I type this while wearing a bra that is about 1.5 years old and it is still beautiful and in great condition.

Rigby & Peller stock a lot of wonderful brands in their stores and online, here are my favourite new in pieces, worth noting the Queen also shops here 😉

Marie Jo
Linda Body
£150
Primadonna
Baboushka
£130 Bra / £65 Briefs
Primadonna
Midnight Garden
£120 Bra / £55 Briefs
Now I love this brand Wild Lovers London, quite a few bloggers I follow have shared content with pieces from this brands amazing collection. Sadly for me, they don't go up to my cup size but here is hoping they might in the future as they are still relatively new. If your bust can fit in a generic xs - xl range then please try this brand their pieces are really beautiful!

Vegas Gold Sparkly Star Bra - £28
Vegas Matching Thong - £16
Crystal Cosmic Cupped Bra - £28
Crystal Matching High Waisted Brief - £18
Willow Zebra Triangle - £28
Willow Zebra Brief - £15
Onto Lonely Label, I found this brand via a journalist friend and I am about to be making a cheeky purchase myself. I love the inclusivity of this independent brand. It's nice to see more of a varied range in its collection from the start. Really excited to see what comes next for Lonely!

Below are a couple of my favourite pieces and I also love their diverse use of models in their lifestyle shots 😍
Dasha Softcup Bra - £107.50
Dasha Tri Brief - £61.43
Lena Underwire Bra Apple - £69.11
Lena High Waist Brief Apple - £38.39

Lulu Underwire Bra Deep Olive - £84.46
Lulu High Waist Brief Deep Olive - £49.91
Ziggy Underwire Bra - £92.14
Ziggy High Waist Brief - £49.91
Bonnie Underwire Bra - £76.02
Bonnie High Waist Brief - £46.07
Not that all of us will need it but really worth mentioning that Lonely also have a small selection of Maternity bras available, worth looking into them if you need one!

Finally a cheeky splurge, the vintage and Femme Fatale inspired brand Gilda & Pearl. Whether you want a fur trimmed robe for the house or a lovely intricate lingerie set Gilda & Pearl can help you. These are some of my favourite pieces at the moment.

Esmé Babydoll - £490
Pillow Talk Shorts - £115

L'Age D'or Set
Bra - £95
Thong - £50

Fleuriste Set
Bra - £180
Briefs - £95
Emelia Lace Body
£330

Mia Mini Slip

Hope you have discovered some new brands. Do you have any other lingerie brands that you could recommend?

Home Comforts . . .

Today I wanted to talk about something different, things for the home. Now I'm thinking of making this an every two week type of fixture, hopefully you will all like it and please feel free to share other people and brands to look at.

What made me want to start this post is that I follow lots of amazing people on instagram whose houses / flats I adore, and I just wanted to share a couple of their profiles with you along with some amazing places to buy prints.

Let's start off with some amazing interiors from . . .

Kirsty of Labels for Lunch, now she really has an amazing eye and one fantastic collection of handbags! I love her playful use of colour and wonderful imagination when it comes to dressing the room.

Now if you follow Kirsty you will see she recently was hanging some great prints from Oliver Bonas, so it should be no surprise that this inspired me to go and have a little look too! Here are some great prints available now from their home department.

Get Naked Print
£65
Wanna Disco?
£55
I Came To Boogie Print
£79.50

Snacks
£39.50

Do you have any other good recommendations for interesting interiors or prints?

Hope you enjoyed!

Wednesday Want . . .

It's back and without further ado this Wednesday Want is a rather cool boilersuit from the amazing brand Lucy & Yak.

Frankie Boilersuit
£65
How 80's is this, I just want to wear this and either walk onto the set for Stranger Things or Sex Education, can't you just see Lily from Sex Education in this paired with a colourful bumbag? Although I know it is not for everyone this really caught my attention and I am a little obsessed with it.

If you don't already know the brand please check out the website to see more amazing creations. I particularly love their unisex dungarees and boilersuits but the below t-shirt also caught my eye from their new in section this morning so I will add it as another cheeky Wednesday Want.

Nina Limited Tee by Nina Sweeney
£22
Hope you enjoyed!

Must Have Brands . . .

So there have been quite a few brands, that I'm sure you are all familiar with, who have really taken over and become go to's for most of the fashion crowd over the last few seasons and I just wanted to give them a bit of love today.

Let's start with one you will all know, Rixo. Founded by best friends Henrietta Rix & Orlagh McCloskey this brand has taken the London fashion scene by storm!

Now I really love what the founders of this brand are doing, their unusual prints mixed with carefully chosen silhouettes makes for a perfect combination. Only thing is I wish I had enough money to be able to splurge on one of these stunners. Here are a few of my current favourites from the site.

£285

Emma Midi Dress
£315

Maya Midi Dress
£315

Melanie Midi Dress
£315
Alyssa Shirred Top

Onto brand number two, Ganni. I'm sure you will also all know this one but if not Ganni is a Danish brand founded by husband and wife team Ditte & Nicolaj Reffstrup in 2000. The Art Connoisseur and Gallery Owner partnership has created a new kind of Scandinavian style that we seem not to be able to get enough of.

These are a few of the new in pieces that I loved the best.

£240
Cotton Shirt
£150
Printed Mini Dress

Moving on to Daily Sleeper. Sleeper was launched in 2014 by two former editors Kate Zubarieva and Asya Varetsa. The team were sparked by a dream one of them had on Christmas night about standing in the middle of a pyjamas factory, that next Christmas they had launched the brands Winter Collection FW14-15.

So It Has Been A While . . .

So it has been a while since I last sat down and thought properly about my blog, as you can see by the date of my last post.

I recently left my job of six years and it has maybe made me feel a little bit nostalgic, might also be that we are at the end of January of a new decade!

Anyway my new situation got me thinking and remembering all the things I have achieved over the past so many years. I finished school, got into my first choice of University, graduated from said University, showcased my work at Graduate Fashion Week, landed my first internship, then a second longer placement, started my blog and through my blog found my job of the last six years of my life.

So this little platform, although probably small really made a difference to my life. I also was lucky enough to work with the brand who made the Satchel that inspired me to begin this journey not once but twice, which is rather special if not a little spooky at how things turn up.

Anyway I am not here to bore you with my tale, I just wanted to say hi and here's to more content while I search for my next adventure. Thanks for sticking with me.
