Sale Buys . . .

I haven't had much time to sale shop this season but did make a cheeky stop to Zara before New Years and a cheeky Asos purchase at the weekend..

I spotted the below black embroidered dress a little while ago and have kept my eye on it and now its finally in the sale I had to snap it up. Now I have had my eye on Glamorous for a while as they seem to have some really great pieces but just have never managed to snap something up in time, so excited to see what my dress is like when it arrives!

My second buy was another dare I say Glamorous piece, the below fab embroidered silk shirt from the brand, They have a black and a navy version available online at the moment but went for the navy, I don't know why but to me it looked a little nicer then the black.

Finally myy Zara buy, I was desperate to get the popular embroidered dress over the summer that everyone seemed to have but unfonetly they were all sold out, I did however manage to find the below beauty in the sale, just in time to wear to a wedding on the 30th Dec,

Does anyone else have any other good sale bits to recommend?

A Bag for Every Occasion . . .

I think to you all it's very clear that I love British brand The Cambridge Satchel Company, if not well my blog was based around mine, I feature them where ever I can, they are made in the UK by an inspiring founder, they are beautiful!

Well as I've already mentioned I created my blog after getting my first one, a yellow 15 inch Satchel. I just wanted to take a few mins to let you know a little about my bags and why I love them and hopefully you will too! As the years have gone by I have added a another and another bag to my collection and I can really say hand on heart they are the best accessories brand in the UK today.

Starting at the beginning of my collection. For work or for school there are various sized Satchels to suit everyones needs, I have a 15 inch Satchel to fit my laptop and books in. I love it, but I would recomend that if you do have a large size like the 14 or 15 inch that you make sure there is always something the size of the bag inside otherwise the ends will rub on the shoulder straps.
My second piece was a little number I found in the brands Sample Sale in their menswear store in Seven Dials. This Mini Satchel called out to me and I had to take it home with me, I mean who wouldn't love a metallic red mini satchel! I have to say I know this appears to be very small but trust me you can fit more then you think in it, dare I say there is something slightly Mary Poppins about this size bag.

My third the below Small Portraight Backpack in St Ives yellow, which I again absolutrly adore, I can fit everything I really need in, my notebooks, various pens, keys (work & home), purse, various chargers and my tablet. There is a larger size which would fit an A4 notebook if you needed it too but I prefer the slightly smaller shape.
My fourth was a present to myself and is a shoulder / clutch style called The Cloud, which is one of the more popular fashion styles. If the scallop detail on the bag wasn't enough to tempt you, wait till I tell you that my bag is black multi glitter :O This is the perfect party bag, wear it in either way it can get you through the evening and is a great day to night option.

My final bag to my current collection is a Tiny Satchel in Brighton Red which I got for Christmas. now this is the smallest size that they do but again you can fit a small purse, keys, phone, and lipstick into this bag so if you need to travel light this is a good practical option for you.
Anyway enough of me, have a little look at the site yourself and see what styles they have, it is more then you could ever image!

What's your favourite?

Bring it on 2017!

So I think everyone in the world can agree 2016 sucked! I think we were all happy when the clock struck midnight on New Years. So with 2017 hopefully being a better year for us all, let me lay out some of my New Year resolutions (I don't normally do this).

Be More Honest With Myself

It's easy to give in and let things happen but I want to make sure that I try and make time for myself. If I need to rest make time too, don't rush to be eveything to everyone else, it is ok to say no. If you don't want to do something say no, you can always come up with a nicer idea to do with friends or loved ones.

Spend Time with Family

My family had something very tragic happen to it last year, which is why for some time I have been quiet. You can't control what happens in life no matter how unfair it is but you can just try to make the most of every moment. So this year I want to spend more time with my family, making new happy memories but not forgetting those who are missing.

Jump

Don't be afraid to jump into things that might seem scary, it doesn't matter if it doen't work at least you've tried.

Get Fit

Original I know but I want to be better this year with my fitness, it's easy to be lazy after work when you come home late. I also have the honour of being a friends bridesmaid this year so I want to make sure I am looking my best cos I know I will be looking back at the photos for years to come.

Travel More

Even if its forward planning, take time to explore the world even if it's just in the UK.

What are your New Year's resolutions?
