Festival Must Haves . . .

Last festival post I promise, I just saw these bags and had to write a quick post on them.

So while having a quick look for bags on ASOS I stumbled across these fab festival worthy bags.

Row 1 Left - Right
Row 2 Left - Right

Now two are bum bags, I know not very glamourous but have a look at these! Ordinarily I wouldn't go for a bum bag but these two are fabulous I love the embellishment detail on these. Again as I said in my previous Bestival theme post what is a festival without a ridiculous amount of glitter and embellishment!

The next two bags are across the body bags which we all know at a festival are the most practical alongside a bum bag. This time we have some sequin embellishment and some fringing. These bags will look good with your outfit no matter your style. 70's, boho, raver, and even dare I say rockers can pull off these bags.

The question is which one will you be buying?

Bestival Fever . . .

Hello Everyone long time no speak, sorry I've been away for a little while don't worry I haven't forgotten about my little blog.

So today is the last day of Bestival in the Isle of White, so to mark the end to the festival season in the UK I am going out with a festival bang!

Now this below look incorporates everything which I hold dear to festivals, glitter, sequins, fringing and metallics! I'm sure like most festivals goers we all know that a festival is the one place apart from an 80s themed night that is acceptable to go all out sequin style. So hopefully this crazy look will please you as much as it does me.

Now you all know I am a sucker for H&M and I am in love with this kooky sequin two piece. I like the look of the two pieces together perfect for festivals, or as separates for nights out or even just wear the top to update your work wardrobe.

Next match this tropical two piece with an across the body bag, this one from ASOS is perfect. A good size for all your festival essentials with the added bonus of being covered in sequins and even a cheeky bit of fringing.

Now usually I would pair any festival look with a trusty pair of wellingtons but this weekend has been quite hot so this time I have paired my festival look with a cool metallic pair of converses. This pair I am currently coveting for myself. I like that they change colour depending where you look at them. This pair will serve you well if you like adding a bit of colour to your wardrobe, imagine pairing these with a black pair of jeans, instant cool!

Next onto the make up, let's face it festivals are the one time you can go absolutely crazy, the more glitter the better. Think about accentuating the eyes with metallic eye shadows and glitter eyeliners and for the more daring glitter on your cheek bones makes a good impact too.
Remember there is also always a place for UV paint too!

Finally the jewellery, my go to is usually a good interesting pair of earrings (I'd normally choose quirky studs), stacking rings and several bracelets, the more the better.

I hope everyone has enjoyed the Summer and festival season I certainly have, I've managed to put three under by belt this Summer. Bring on next year I say!

Remember after all what's festival fashion if not bonkers and fun.

Field Day Festival . . .

Get ready for a season of Festival fashion, now we have already had Coachella now we are getting closer to more wonderful festivals. Be prepared for multiple posts on this subject, I will allocate each look to a specific festival. Starting with this look for Field Day Festival.

For this festival I have gone for a quite hipster look, well with the likes of FKA Twigs headlining you can get away with a crazy bold print two piece, Now the majority of this look, all except the rings, are from Monki, Now you all know I am a fan of H&M so the fact that I like Monki should come as no surprise. I really love the print of this two piece, it is also available in a dress form, but I quite like the practical shorts and top combo. Remember this is festival fashion so as much as you can make a fashion statement remember you have to be able to go to the loo easily in whatever you wear, especially as you don't have space in a porter-loo to be able to shimmy out of a playsuit. Moving on to the shoes, ok as it is a London festival you can get away with wearing 1) heels and 2)white shoes. Lets face it you aren't going to get muddy at Field Day so you can totally get away with wearing shoes like these. I like the chunky heel on these, which will be more comfortable for jumping around and dancing all day in. Now to the silver bag, now I do love a backpack for practicality but for festivals I would advise not to use one as it makes it easy for someone to steal all your belongings while you are dancing to the likes of  Caribou. So a bag that you can hold or put over your shoulder is a lot safer, and who doesn't love a silver bag! No I have styled this look with two silver rings, now  would probably wear these on the same hand for more impact but of course that is up to you. In typical festival form, fun sparkly nails are on the top of my list, an easy way to inject a bit of fun to your looks. I really like this Monki nail polish in a multicoloured glitter dot. Finishing touches are a denim jacket to trough over your look in the evening to keep you warm and some glitter elastics to tie your hair up with when you get a bit hot dancing!

I hope you like this look and if you are off to Field Day that you enjoy yourself!
What will you be wearing?

Sunday Splurge . . .

So this week we have a fantastic pair of shoes in two different colours for our Sunday Splurge.
Now I am a huge fan of this brand and I have featured them before, but these shoes are just awesome and totally bring out the inner child in me!
Don't believe me check them our for yourself . . .

To be taken to the website click here . . .
So what do you think???

Now I know there would be very few daytime occasions that you could turn the shoe lights on but how cool that you have the option. Imagine clubbing with these bad boys, I love them.
These are a strong contender for my birthday splurge in a couple of weeks. These trainers are priced at £125 which for what they are I think is quite reasonable and you can even charge them up, which I love as I can see them just charging next to my phone the night before a party.

I hope you love these shoes as much as I clearly do.

Happy Easter everyone, I hope you all have a lovely day!

Get Coachella Ready . . .

Hello again everyone, I know it has been a long time since I last wrote anything, for which I am very sorry that I have let time slip away, Anyway what better reason to start writing again than festival season!

Yes we all know it is Coachella time again, and what better way to get into the festival spirit then to show three festival looks fit for Coachella. Of course the first is a look by H&M, and specifically their Coachella collection.

As you can see the designers at H&M have carefully though about our festival statement pieces, for example the fringed cross body bag. Now when I go to festivals I have to admit this for me is a key piece! Moving onto the overall outfit, the boho printed top is my favourite piece from the entire collection, I think the choice of print was genius, think how good this will look in the Californian sun. I have paired the top here with just a simple black denim pair of shorts. Now how to accessorize, of course with colourful stackable bracelets are a must have at festivals, as well as your trusty festival wristband we like to over accessorize our wrists and why not!! Now sunglasses, we all know this is a festival staple whatever the weather, I wore mine in Glastonbury in the sun and in the rain, morning and even night, though it was a lot harder to see the mud with. Luckily for festival goers at Coachella it is going to be hot so you can get away with wearing heeled lace up sandals. Finally a trusty felt hat to finish off the overall boho chic look and to protect you from the sun.

What is a festival in the Californian sun if not a chance to wear some stylish pieces, with no chance of mud at this festival the shoe options are endless. Again I have to admit this two piece is from H&M but how fabulous is it! I love the metallic pattern of the fabric and the hint of pale blue in the print. This time I've chosen this cami top to go underneath this statement jacket, this fringed edged lace number is perfect for dancing about in. This outfit would look good accessorized with either gold or silver pieces but for my look I have chosen to go with statement silver pieces. Again another version of the over the shoulder fringed bag this time in white, paired with these flatform white sandals.

Finally look three. Lets start with this denim parka, now yes it will be hot but we have to think practically, if it goes turn a little bit chilly this will keep you warm. I think a parka style jacket or coat is always a great buy if you are going to a festival as it is normally light weight, will keep you warm and is very flattering! Next we have another off the shoulder top this time in a blue and green floral print, personally I love this top I think it is so pretty. Throw this top on over a pair of white fringed edge denim shorts and that's your outfit sorted. Now to the finishing touches, first the gold gladiator sandals, now we all know these are very much back on trend at the moment so this is a summer wardrobe essential piece, this Topshop pair I predict will sell out fast so get them before they are gone. Next to a statement necklace and matching earrings again this is a bit flashy for an English festival but in the Californian sun this will really sparkle! Now to the final piece this amazing blue suede fringed backpack from Accessories.

I hope you like these looks, if you are off to Coachella I hope you have an amazing time!

What will you be wearing this festival season?

Yellow Edit . . .

This season it is all about the yellow bags, which of course is perfect for me and my lovely satchel!
I have had a little look around to find you some great yellow bags in a variety of styles and tones.
So without further ado here are some of the best yellow bags I have seen available at the moment.

For Individual Prices Click Here
Let's start with the clutch bag. This envelope clutch is simple, and elegant and the perfect addition to any LBD for an evening out. Next I will go onto the yellow duffle bag with side zip details, and draw strip front. The shape of this bag is practical and the zip details really help to modernise a style which can sometimes look very boring. A duffle bag is always practical and a good choice if you are a festival goer like myself. Next onto this flip lock backpack, this is my personal favourite! Now New Look have really upped their game over the last year with their accessories, especially their backpacks. The designers have found a winning formula and I certainly cannot get enough! Next we have two different styles of satchels. The one on the left is of course a much simpler design, which I'm sure some ladies would prefer but I do like the double buckle detail on the satchel to the right. It adds a bit of interest on an otherwise plain design.

Although I do love all these bags my favourite is still my beloved Cambridge Satchel Company satchel.

Which bag is your favourite?
