3D Florals

Another trend this Spring /Summer is 3D florals. We saw them in Matthew Williamson's S/S 14 show appliqué flowers sewn together to create a lace type effect. The mix of hues also gives these feminine florals a fresh face. Fun and fancy, just look at the detailed pictures from his collection below.

Dolce and Gabbana also gave us beautiful feminine florals that seemed to pop off the dresses.

The key to this trend is the more eye-catching and eye-popping the florals are the better!

The easiest way for you to follow this trend if your afraid of full on florals is statement jewellery or head pieces, think festival wear.
I've had a look around for my top picks online and have found a selection of garments and accessories to get you started on this trend.

My finds range from more mainstream boutiques and shops, to name a few missguided, Debenhams, Matches, Topshop, New Look, and River Island. Sequined florals, embellished floral prints and embroidered floral details cover these garments, some more subtle than others. I love the variety of florals that are available at the moment with louder prints than usual its great!

Again there is such a wonderful flurry of florals in the accessories department, with headbands, bracelets, necklaces and earrings. All in bold colours and incredible shapes.

The show stopper, I am in love with this gown, if I was going to the Oscars I would have worn this I think stunning, feminine and delicate. This trend really is a piece of art, whichever way you look at it, carefully constructed garments and accessories showing off the florals to the best.

What's your favourite floral piece?
