Paris Fashion Week Day 6

Starting us off today we have Kenzo, with their exotic colours and almost dinosaur skeleton print.

I love the range of dark earthy tones, which is unusual as we don't always see the darker tones, clashing with bright oranges and acid greens. These edgy cut designs have an almost origami effect in their construction and details. With an interesting choice of print, from a distance it could be a floral pattern with intricate pieces but up close it looks like either a dinosaurs skeleton or mechanical parts arranged into interesting shapes. What do you think it looks like?

The rest of the collection featured interesting details and finishes such as embellishment, sequins and zips which adorned both the garments and accessories. A very interesting collection from Kenzo, pleasantly surprised!

Moving onto Andrew Gn

Embellished and embroidered details, feathers prints colours, sheer fabrics, belts and bags is there anything that this collection does not show? Fabulous colour ways, bright bursts of colour. Elegant cuts and tailoring contrasted with more causal pieces. I love the robot embroidered jumpers and tops it adds a little bit of fun to this collection. Beautiful embroidered pieces with tonal details really helping to accentuate the designs.

Alessandra Rich, I am in love with this collection. It reminds me of my collection at university, it was made primarily of black lace.

I love the shapes, the loose lace trousers which is a nice detail as it looks more like a skirt or a dress. The variety of lace used and the way its used is very interesting, the sheer panels versus the very heavily layered and textured lace panels. I love the contrast of the white lace and black lace. My favourite design in white lace is the one featured above the lace insert at the bottom, the beautiful embroidery detailing on the front of the dress I would wear this for a wedding, it's just so unusual. A very wearable collection. Beautiful!

What have you thought of Paris Fashion Week and of Day 6?
