We have finally made it to the Day five milestone of Paris Fashion Week, and to start us off we have Junya Watanabe.
In true Junya Watanabe style its out there! I range of shapes and styles also dare I say a few capes! Fabulous variety of textures and fabrics, need I say more.
Tsumori Chisato
Picasso comes to mind and other cubist artists. This flurry of colour has definitely made my day, also the unusual panels and visuals on each garment had retained and excited my mind. Almost a juxtaposition to Watanabe above the amount of colour or shimmering detailing added to panels to really make them stand out.
Do you like this mix of cubist art and fashion?
Finally a favourite of mine Vivienne Westwood.
As brilliant as ever, Vivienne Westwood has done it again in usual fashion her mix of shapes and volume. Wonderful mix of print and luxurious fabrics, nothing less from our Vivienne. A wonderful collection, want them all!
Olympia Le Tan, I feel like I've fallen into Alice in Wonderland!
Well what a show to finish Day 5, this zany, fun and playful collection is a breathe of fresh air for me. I love the mini tuxedo jackets and shorts in card prints or entirely made from playing cards! Rabbit shapes popping up on bodies or on two pieces, also as feature pieces like the huge bunny hood above. Have an fancy dress occasion coming up or an Alice in Wonderland themed party this is the collection for you. I am spellbound!
What was your favourite show?
