London Fashion Week Day 5

Day five, the last and final day of this seasons London fashion week, round up before we move to see what Milan has to over us . . .

On the final day of fashion week a few designers collections particularly caught my attention, starting with Tata Naka, what a great name!

I absolutely love this photoshoot! I love that the wall paper an printed floor in the background are prints that the designer has used in statement pieces in the collection. The fun shapes and prints used in the whole collection are reminiscent of the 60's and 70's, but with the panelling of various prints as seen in the third picture (bottom left) it has become very innovative and unusual collection. Risky choices but I think that it has been pulled off successfully

Next we look at KTZ, an edgy and more urban collection than that of the one above but a nice juxtaposition if you will.

This collection is a mix of leather, pvc, metallics, print, e.c.t. I love the edgy feel that this collection gives off, its refreshing to see a more urban feeling collection. This collection again features a lot of layering which can be seen to be a strong trend in Autumn / Winter 15. The oversized tops over tight bottoms or leggings in interesting fabrics and prints. Certain pieces in this collection such as the leggings / trousers are perfect day to night pieces. I love the hooded cape, bottom left, the prints all reminding me subtly of middle eastern patterns and prints. What do you think of this collection? Edgy enough for you?

Lastly I finish off with an accessory designer, the wonderful Anya Hindmarch.

This fun collection is a great way to finish off my London fashion week round up. Anya Hindmarch has based this collection obviously on well known supermarket brands. This playful collection features brands and characters such as Tony the Tiger from Frosties, Coco the monkey from Coco Pops, Custard Cream and Bourbon biscuits, Kelloggs Cockerel, crisp packets, Daz and Ariel boxes. Her reasoning behind this collection was to celebrate the smaller things in life, finding happiness in even the most mundane of places. She's made me happy, and slightly hungry.

What did you think of this collection, and the others above?
Did you enjoy London Fashion Week as much as I did?
