New York Part Two

With more and more amazing catwalk shows going on in New York I thought I should show a few more of my favourite pieces. Starting with Oscar de la Renta . . .

These stunning numbers above are classical, elegant, and feminine. Oscar de la Renta is always known for his stylish and stunning pieces, these do not disappoint, made from luxurious fabrics, with lace, velvet, chiffon, e.c.t in beautiful cuts and styles. The above designs being of course more everyday, or event wear compared to the show stopping gowns below.

These stunning three dresses are only my top three from the collection, there were plenty more stunning gowns. Of course the show stopper was the polka dot gown worn by model Karlie Kloss, yes it really is her, to close the show. Stunningly glamorous and elegant yet playful through the choice of the polka dot fabric, possibly a chiffon or organza. I would love to have any occasion to be able to wear dresses like these, maybe I should make a reason?

Guess the question on everybody's mind is which actress will be wearing one for the BAFTA or Oscar awards?
Maybe Sandra Bullock? We shall see . . .

Another favourite collection from the last few days is by Naeem Khan.

This collection featured a number of different techniques and finishes, but these three are my favourite. The red lace and embossed dress is breathtaking with all the intricate details as are the other two dresses. I love the long sleeved embellished and embroidered shift dress in the middle, perfect dress from taking you from day to night. The last dress of course being another show stopper with feathers being used in every aspect of this dress.
What's your favourite?
