New York Fashion Week Part One

So with so many Ready-to-Wear shows going on at the moment in New York, I've done a little catch up from the last few days of my favourite designers collections so far from Autumn / Winter 2014 -15, and my top 3 looks from each. Starting from the earliest show then ending with the latest. Ok so starting us off is . . .

Josie Natori
Very much fallen in love with this shocking red velvet coat, gorgeous shape rolled cape collar resting on the shoulders. Perfect for the Autumn I would love this! The stunning print on the second coat, just adds a wow factor again a slouchy style it looks stunning and great as a statement jacket for anyone. Finally the lazer cut dress, beautiful but you can see that for yourself.

Lisa Perry
I absolutely love the A-Line and Tent like shapes of these dresses, and the subtle differences on each, with the green dress having tucks details at the top, the labyrinth print features a jacket like collar and the black dress is made to look like an oversized coat, stunning.
Rachel Roy
This stunning edgy collection mixes embellishment, leather, fur, fringing and lace panelling with bold florals. Rachel Roy definitely has the wow factor with this collection I found it difficult to even choose three let alone four favourite looks. The stunning mixtures of fabric and textures make this a strong favourite and I can't wait to see what this designer has in store for 2015! I would wear all of these looks, brilliant.

M Missoni
Another designer with an amazing digital print in a variety of colours, from electric blue, to shocking red, to more earthly tones. I am a huge fan of digital print so no surprise that this collection caught my eye. The statement coats are stunning perfect again to stand out from the autumnal crowd, the trousers again in a more neutral print are still stunning with the black band detail at the bottom to finish it off.

Tadashi Shoji
Another designer who has chosen to use statement lazer cutting details is Tadashi Shoji, this amazing cape again in shocking red, I'm sure you've noticed that it is the colour of Autumn / Winter 2014, is just so luxurious with all its detail, especially as it have been paired with a white lazer cut dress so it stands out even more. An outfit I would love in my wardrobe, if only I had both the money and occasion to wear it. The high neck dress in navy is a show stopper with a blank band featured at the bottom to just finish off the dress perfectly, it really makes the lazer cut stand out more. More velvet can be seen in this collection with what looks like either very finely lazered details or very fine stitch details, creating shapes and lines.
Who was your favourite designer so far?
