Bonjour Paris, lets see what you had for us on day one of Paris Fashion Week.
Starting with the designer Devastee.
This one such a great show to start of Paris Fashion Week it just oozes Parisian laid back chic at its finest. I love the black and white monochrome look that carries through the entire collection. Blazers over shift dresses in black and white digital prints, Smock dresses in mixed prints, sixties inspired coats and slouchy jackets in load black and white prints. Extremely wearable collection, I love that it is even styled with plimsolls trainers, Parisian chic that everybody can wear.
Next we have Jacquemus whose oversized shapes caught our attention. With interesting mix of fabrics, and styles all in extremely oversized patterns, or with oversized details. Geometrics were also carried through into this collection either through the shapes or the fabric choice. An interesting designer I have not seen before, I will be looking out to see what they come up with next though.
